Harrow Culture Forum launch event - Arts marketing & management

WeTheSeeds worked alongside OneForty to create the launch event for the Harrow Culture Forum.

The Harrow Culture Forum is a collaborative forum that supports individuals, communities and businesses to create artistic and cultural opportunities within the London borough of Harrow.

Supported by Harrow Council, the forum has newly been reestablished and it was our task to create and manage an marketing event for their first informal meet.

Harrow Culture Forum launch event

The process

To create an event that reflected Harrow’s arts and culture offering meant that we had to work with 100% local producers. WeTheSeeds managed the process of sourcing and booking on 11 performance acts, alongside local caterers and a DJ & host. All of the acts practised various art forms, ranging from Bollywood dance, to music to spoken word.

The event was named “Harrow arts summer social” to inspire more of the general public to attend.

Growing the seeds

We created social media content before and after the event glorifying each act as well as distributing posters throughout the borough. Media was invited to attend, and the event was also attended by the Mayor and Mayoress. It was important that we showcased Harrow’s arts and culture offering in a new light, bringing it to the front-line community in a way in which was accessible and uplifting.

We’d love to hear from you!
